On the other hand, if you’ve been holding out on Google Earth the way I was, hold out no more! It’s fun in a geeky sorta way. After doing the usual fly to my house, your house and their house, the drifter in me couldn’t help but to explore some mountain runs. Here’s an old favorite near the house:

The software is also extendable and collaborative, meaning features can be customized and shared. There’s a whole community of people sharing “tours”. Somebody should start up a Touge Tour.

My boy Amrafel and I shot and knocked out all shoe photos on that “microsite”. I like studio photography so much because of the controlled environment; lighting, angle, lenses, etc.. Besides that, it’s fun ;)

I did just about all of the flash work on that site, including programming the “physics engine” into the game. I put quotes around “physics” because it’s not entirely accurate physics. The goal was to make a fun game (especially for non-drifters) and in a short amount of time. Now go get onto the top 10 board ;)
